Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install Grout and start creating amazing educational content.
System Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
- RAM: 8GB minimum (16GB recommended)
- Storage: 10GB free space
- Graphics: DirectX 11 compatible graphics card
Installation Steps

Download Grout
Download the latest version of Grout for Windows from our official website.

Run the Installer
Double-click the downloaded installer file (GroutSetup.exe) and follow the installation wizard.
Note: You may need administrator privileges to install Grout.

First Launch Setup
When you first launch Grout, you'll be guided through:
- Creating your account or signing in
- Choosing your preferred AI models
- Setting up offline mode preferences
- Customizing your workspace
Troubleshooting
Common Installation Issues
Installation fails with error code 0x800
This usually means you need to run the installer as administrator. Right-click the installer and select "Run as administrator".
Graphics driver compatibility
Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from your graphics card manufacturer's website.
