Our Refund Policy

At Grout, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our services. We understand that sometimes a service might not meet your expectations or needs. This refund policy outlines when and how you can request a refund for your purchase.

Subscription Refunds

For monthly subscription plans:

  • You may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the service.
  • No refunds will be provided for any renewal payments.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time, but no partial refunds will be provided for unused periods.

For annual subscription plans:

  • You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
  • Refunds for annual plans will be prorated based on usage.

Educational Institutions

For educational institution plans:

  • Custom refund terms may apply based on your contract.
  • Please contact your account representative for specific details about your refund options.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Log in to your Grout account
  2. Go to Account Settings > Billing
  3. Click on "Request Refund" and follow the instructions
  4. Alternatively, contact our support team at [email protected]

Please include your order number and reason for the refund in your request.

Refund Processing

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.

Indian Consumer Protection Act Compliance

In accordance with the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019, consumers in India are entitled to the following additional rights:

  • Right to be protected against marketing of goods and services which are hazardous to life and property
  • Right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods or services
  • Right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices

For Indian users, refunds will be processed in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
